About Pep Gonese
Pep Gonese is a qualified social worker and Best Interests Assessor with extensive experience in adult social care. With a BSc (Hons) in Social Work from the University of Bedfordshire and a postgraduate certificate in Advanced Professional Practice (DoLS Assessor) from Lincoln University, Pep has over a decade of experience working in local authority settings, supporting older adults and vulnerable individuals.
His expertise spans safeguarding, mental capacity assessments, care needs assessments, and advocacy for self-funding clients. Having worked in multidisciplinary teams across multiple local authorities, Pep is well-versed in statutory duties under the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
